The title was originally supposed to be "Cards." But I changed it for two reasons:
1) I might do another picture later with a card theme but they'll actually be cards then. 2) My brother and I do a collab. story featuring a group called "Cards." Kind of Lame, but it's to avoid confusion, especially if later I decide to dress the Cliche crew up like those characters. Comments. Okay, here we go into one of Blue's famous long and unnecessary explanations. WHOOT! This pic was inspired by Alice in Wonderland (Liar! it was inspired by Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, but it's the same concept.) The Yaashiins, I have no idea why I made Takuya clubs and Toya diamonds. I just knew one had to be red while the other was black. Billy, I decided to make him spades becuase he sort of resembles one of my characters named Spade from one of mine and my brother's collab.s Boque is hearts becuase she's maybe got the most love of the four (actually, Takuya has the most love, but I was not about to make him hearts.) I suck at costume designs, but I can't help the fact that I love dressing the Cliche Crew up in different stuff. It's weird, I've never wanted to dress my other hundreds of characters up so much before. I especially find it fun giving Boque different hair styles. Like here, it's all straight and together unlike her usual curly and wild mass. I also hate how the coloring went for this one. Um, I drew this in a kind of small sketchbook so coloring was more difficult for me. If you've noticed anything about Cliche, you'll notice I like making them stick to themes. A few things all the character designs are sharing in this one is the cards covering their mouths (Takuya and Toya are holding each others. Gotta love brotherly love.) Another is something the Cliche Crew has shared since day one: The collars and wrist bands and earrings. For this pic, eveyone is wearing either a silver (black) or gold (red) collar with their symbol on it and then a chain in the shape of said symbol is dangling from it. All their wrist bands are different but they do have the symbols on them. And their earrings are also their symbols. One reason I was glad for this color scheme is that by using silver, Billy's piercing is actually visible. His default one is black, and his hair is black so it's rarely ever seen. For those who have never noticed it on previous Billy pics, it's a black version of the Mokona Modoki earring and its on both of his ears. The twins I gave headbands becuase for some reason, I like putting headbands on them. The cards flying around in the background were purely so the background wouldn't be white. Also, as for all Cliche themed pics you will notice later, "Cliche" is written on it somewhere. Okay. I have to get to work on writing Cliche now. I'm supposed to be updating episode 14 this Satuday, but Episode 8 is being difficult. If you want to read it, here it is. I have to go over and revise episodes 6 and 7 though. The Cliche Crew belongs to me. Be grateful, becuase no one else would be able to control them. |
